Dave in Dordogne
Visit Dave Kent in St. Cyprien, Dordogne, France: April - June, 2024
Dordogne is a gorgeous region of Southwestern France just east of Bordeaux. Its about a 5.5 hour drive from Paris and about a 2.5 hour drive from Toulouse.
As I said, Dordogne is drop dead gorgeous
It seems that two out of three rocky outcroppings have castles atop them. During my visit, I was a guest at a home from which five castles were visible!
St. Cyprien is a small town on the northern bank of the Dorgogne River. It's hard to find on tourist maps. It's about an hour drive up the river from Bergerec (which you will find on a map)
This is the town that I stayed in for a few days in October. The homes are built right into the freak'n cliff!!
